  4. 4

    Download or copy

Copy the XML to clipboard or download it as a .xml file. Upload it to your site root and reference it in your robots.txt.

Frequently Asked Questions

An XML sitemap is a file that lists all important URLs on your website. It helps search engines discover and crawl your pages more efficiently. The sitemap protocol is supported by Google, Bing, Yahoo, and other search engines.

Priority is a value from 0.0 to 1.0 that hints to search engines how important a page is relative to other pages on your site. The default is 0.5. Note: Google has stated they largely ignore the priority value.

The changefreq tag tells search engines how often a page is likely to change: always, hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, or never. This is a hint, not a command.

When you have more than 50,000 URLs or your sitemap file exceeds 50MB (uncompressed), you need to split it into multiple sitemaps and reference them from a sitemap index file.

No. All sitemap generation happens entirely in your browser. Your URLs and data never leave your machine.
